I love the sound of rain
as it drops down onto my roof
(tiny touches of life together
that find something more)
When as a whole
they join if just for an instant,
like words on lovers lips
to roll off this ceramic earth.
And if I can not sleep at night,
those beads of black
glint harder…

Think I might sow this on a pillow.
